The Parks and Gardens Department held an intensive "gardens bash" over the weekend before Easter. They now have a large stretch of new platform to bring up to the same award-winning standard as the rest. Gary Clayton starts the job by filling some new half barrels full of compost. The other new section of planting was at Gelerts Farm Halt, where the newly completed entrance courtyard for the museum was given the finishing touch.

This ornamental locomotive is a good way to hide an unsightly manhole!

Knit one, purl one...... Carriage & Wagon Manager Andy Jones is busy assembling some oilers to get the Hudson Toastrack carriage back in service for Easter.

The WHHR now has its own railway crier. Martin Hallett was out in Porthmadog town centre with his bell on the Saturday. Here he is practising in the museum.
